Our Story
ReCap is our story.
For six years, starting ReCap has been an on-and-off journey. I always dreamed of creating a hair accessory line for kids, so I bought materials, gathered supplies, and filled my creative closet with things I was sure I’d eventually turn into something beautiful.
And then they sat there.
Collecting dust.
More than once, I thought about giving up.
Then, just when I was ready to walk away, a little still voice whispered:
“Use what you got.”
So I did.
I pulled everything out of my creative closet and began transforming the pieces I already had into something cohesive, colorful, and completely my own. Along the way, I discovered the most unexpectedly transformative material of all—a simple metal bottle cap.
Something ordinary. Something overlooked. Something most people would throw away.
But I saw possibility.
And that became ReCap.
